What IS Franklin's Promise?

Franklin’s Promise is a Coalition of people, agencies and organizations who want to make Franklin County, Florida a better place to live for all its citizens.  The VISION of Franklin's Promise is:

TO help Franklin county BE A COMMUNITY WHERE PEOPLE ARE EMPOWERED TO REALIZE THEIR HOPES AND DREAMS.

In order to realize this VISION, Franklin’s Promise has as it’s MISSION:

• Establishing a community coalition comprised of concerned citizens, business partners, agencies, organizations, and churches that promotes positive youth development

• Providing a forum for networking with service providers, churches, other institutions and interested citizens to discuss the issues facing Franklin County and how the problems might be solved working together

• Improving access to quality services and assisting in eliminating disparities of service.
  Streamlining and preventing duplication and fragmentation of services.

• Identifying unmet needs and determining strategies and programs to meet those needs.

• Informing and educating individuals on challenges, resources and opportunities in the Community.

• Promoting positive youth development through the reduction of substance abuse and other negative behaviors among the youth of Franklin County.
